Leading Conflict-Free Remote Teams
Why this workshop?
While for many leaders managing remote teams has been a reality long before the current ongoing changes to work practices, for some this is a new phenomenon they are completely unprepared for.
Allowing staff to work remotely, whether by choice or not, has a lot of advantages, including allowing employees to have more flexible work arrangements, being able to access talent from all over the world, saving money on office space, saving time and money commuting and helping to support the environment due to less travel.
However, there are also challenges in working remotely and in managing a virtual workforce. Some of these challenges are part of managing any team but other challenges are specific to virtual teams.
What we aim to achieve.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Evaluate the challenges and opportunities of leading a virtual team.
Highlight the key skills of an effective virtual team leader
